Red Bay was named for the last twenty minutes of the day — the rust-coloured light that pours across the water when the sun gets low on the Huron side. Low waves, long glow, a shoreline that spends all day being pleasant and then, right on schedule, becomes the reason you're there. Most beaches have a sunset. Red Bay is one. It's on the sign.
