Curators
Your beach.
Your eye.
On the record.
Nobody photographs a shoreline like the person who belongs to it.
The Sixth is built on real Georgian Bay places — and the truest pictures of those places live on the phones of the people who watch them all year. Curators send us their beach: the storm mornings, the golden hours, the first ice, the day the fog didn't lift. We feature the best of it, with your name on it, everywhere The Sixth goes.
Your name (or handle) travels with your shot — social, site, campaign. No exceptions.
A featured page on shopthesixth.com showing your beach through your eye.
A tee that isn't for sale. You can only earn it.
When your shoreline's collection releases, you see it before anyone.
Shots of your beach across seasons and moods — big weather, low light, empty sand, real detail. Phone photos are welcome; honesty beats gear. No heavy filters, no people who haven't said yes, no drone shots where drones aren't allowed.
Who can be a Curator?
Anyone 18+ with a real connection to a Georgian Bay shoreline. Under 18? Have a parent or guardian apply with you.
Is there one Curator per beach?
No — every beach can have many contributors. Each season we name Featured Curators per beach, chosen from that season's submissions.
Do I get paid?
Not in cash. You get credit on everything, the gallery feature, the Curator tee, and first access to your beach's releases. Your photos stay yours.
What rights am I giving The Sixth?
You keep full ownership and copyright. By submitting, you grant The Sixth (NorthFuse Group) a non-exclusive licence to use, edit, and display your submitted photos in our marketing, social media, website, and campaign materials, always with credit. You can keep posting, selling, or licensing your photos anywhere else.
Can I change my mind?
Yes. Email us and we'll stop using your photos in new material going forward.
How do I submit photos after I'm in?
Once accepted you'll get a submission email address and simple guidelines. Send shots whenever your beach does something worth recording.
