The Sixth Georgian Bay

The name is a logging-era leftover; the place is anything but. Halfway Log Dump is a boulder beach on the open water — white stones the size of furniture, waves with the whole lake behind them, and a shoreline that never once considered being comfortable. You don't lie on this beach. You climb it, brace on it, and stare down the biggest water the Bruce can show you. Best name on the chart. Earned.
